What is Process Coaching?
Process Coaching is a supportive and exploratory program designed to help create and sustain action to achieve overall health and wellness goals. This approach includes traditional concrete interventions (like nutrition and exercise plans) but adds coaching meetings to explore, identify, and address obstacles that interfere with progress.
We recognize that finding a person to prescribe exercise and meal planning is easy, but managing the experiences that come with following through can be challenging. For some, choosing the right plan feels overwhelming. For others, following the plan can be difficult due to emerging feelings and obstacles. Lifestyle choices are influenced by our emotions, personal history, relationships, and expectations. Without support to work through these challenges, making meaningful changes can be difficult. Past failures often result from not fully exploring and making meaning of the relationships and external obstacles that contributed to them. Process Coaching helps create lasting change by making sense of these moments, every step of the way.
